Theme Verses:
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9
“I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” — Philippians 4:13 ESV
🌟 What Does It Mean to Persevere?
Today’s Truth: Perseverance means choosing to keep going, even when it’s hard—because Jesus is running the race with us.
Imagine you’re on a big race track. Some days are sunny and smooth, and others feel rainy or uphill. You might trip, or feel tired, or want to stop. But just like a runner who trains and keeps going, we grow stronger when we trust Jesus to help us press on. There isn’t anything you cannot overcome with Christ Jesus on your team.
God doesn’t ask us to be the fastest or the best—He simply asks us to stay close to Him and finish the race. When we keep loving, keep helping, and keep praying, we are doing something beautiful for God. Let’s not give up… because He never gives up on us!
What is something you’re working hard at today?
Prayer: Dear Jesus, sometimes I feel tired and want to quit. Help me to keep going, even when it’s hard. Remind me that You are with me, cheering me on. Amen.
Activity: Draw a race track and place yourself on it! Write or draw three things God is helping you not give up on. Add a banner at the finish line that says: “Jesus Helps Me Finish!”
